Chapel Wedding Planning
Fees vary depending on the amount of people and/or the amount of time requested for the use of the chapel. You could pick a smaller package and yet want more time so your fees would reflect one of our larger package prices. Example: You pick the the Sentimental package as you only have 20 people but you would like more time for pictures and want an additional 15 minutes so you would then be upgraded to our Traditional package.
All of our fees are “cash discount” fees. A convenience fee will be added for credit cards.
Prices Subject to Change Without Notice, but if you have made a deposit, no change in your fees will occur even if we have had to modify our fees due to increasing costs.
All chapel rentals require a minimal of 50% deposit or full payment if less than 60 days prior to your wedding date. All deposits are non refundable if cancelled once a deposit is made and if you change the date or time of your wedding, a rescheduling fee will be required.
We have a wonderful staff of ministers, but if you would like to bring your own minister you can do so for a small fee.
All consultations and planning are included in our packages and can be done via the phone, email or in person. We usually do the consultation for your wedding when you come in to make your deposit.
Please make an appointment before you visit to ensure we are available and not performing a wedding or in consultation with someone else so we can give you the time you deserve to answer any questions you may have and to view the chapel.
The Day of Your Wedding
Please be a little early for your wedding. Since all chapel packages are time specific, you will take away from your ceremony if you are late and will be charged extra fees if you run over the time allowed if we are able to do so. We cannot guarantee additional time the day of the wedding as there may be another wedding after yours or the minister may have to leave to be on time for a Beach or Destination wedding.
Often, people under estimate how many people will be attending their wedding and the day of the ceremony, additional people can be added. However, if you only rented the chapel for ½ hour you may not get the additional time if we have another wedding right after yours or the minister has to leave to be on time for a Beach/Destination wedding in San Diego
Make an appointment for your marriage license within 90 days of the ceremony with the County Clerk’s office. If you forget to procure a marriage license or forget it the day of your wedding, the date will reflect sometime different than your ceremony and an extra fee will be charged for the minister to meet you another time.

They have 5 offices to serve you Monday through Friday 8am to 5 pm and are closed all major holidays.
Civil or Religious Meaningful Wedding Ceremonies
Our friendly staff helps you create a day to remember by personalizing your ceremony to your particular needs and beliefs. We respect all religious tenents and will gladly include any cultural, religious, or personal requests into your service.
We provide a sample ceremony that has worked tremendously well since the inception of our business over 35 years ago. You are welcome to make any editing changes to make the ceremony more personally yours, give us a ceremony you have created or found to work best for you, or mix and match some of our ceremony with some things you would like to implement. The choice is always yours.

- Address to Children from previous marriage
- Vows (Ours or your own personal Vows)

- Candle, Water, or Sand Ceremony
- Cultural (Veil, Cord/Lasso Ceremony, Arras, Broom Jumping, or any other cultural traditions)
- Rose Ceremony
- Prayer of Blessing
You are welcome to have a Theme Wedding (Halloween, Country Western, Renaissance, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, Star Trek, Pilgrim, etc) which has been quite popular over the years. If you want the minister to participate in costume, you must provide it at your cost.
We also perform ceremonies in Hot Air Balloons, on Horseback, on the trolley, the train, airplanes, 3 wheelers in the desert, yachts, row boats, motorcycles, parades, and even as a padre at the San Diego Stadium. If you can imagine it, we can be a part of your dream!
