Chapel Wedding Planning
Fees
Fees vary depending on the amount of people and/or the amount of time requested for the use of the chapel. You could pick a smaller package and yet want more time so your fees would reflect one of our larger package prices. Example: You pick the the Sentimental package as you only have 20 people but you would like more time for pictures and want an additional 15 minutes so you would then be upgraded to our Traditional package.
All of our fees are “cash discount” fees. A convenience fee will be added for credit cards.
Prices Subject to Change Without Notice, but if you have made a deposit, no change in your fees will occur even if we have had to modify our fees due to increasing costs.
Deposits
All chapel rentals require a minimal of 50% deposit with balance due 1 month prior to your wedding. If less than 4 weeks before your wedding full payment is required. All deposits are non refundable if canceled once a deposit is made and if you change the date or time of your wedding, a rescheduling fee will be required.
Ministers
We have a wonderful staff of ministers, but if you would like to bring your own minister you can do so for the minister’s fee (sans gratuity of course)
Consultations
All consultations and planning are included in our packages and done by appointment only as our staff works at another location and only on site by appointment.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals for small weddings are typically not needed, but if you prefer to have one you are more than welcome to do so for the fees listed below. Most wedding rehearsals can be done in 1/2 hour unless you have a large entourage or if you are late for your appointed time and the time has to be extended.

The Day of Your Wedding
Please be a little early for your wedding. Since all chapel packages are time specific, you will take away from your ceremony if you are late and will be charged extra fees if you run over the time allowed if we are able to do so. We cannot guarantee additional time the day of the wedding as there may be another wedding after yours or the minister may have to leave to be on time for a Beach or Destination wedding.
Often, people under estimate how many people will be attending their wedding and the day of the ceremony, additional people can be added. However, if you only rented the chapel for ½ hour you may not get the additional time if we have another wedding right after yours or the minister has to leave to be on time for a Beach/Destination wedding in San Diego
Marriage License
We can provide the confidential marriage license for you without going to the County Clerk’s office if you are having difficulty obtaining an appointment and need same day service, after hours or on weekends or holidays. Our fees are slightly higher than the county to cover the cost of preparation and the notary fees.
Make an appointment for your marriage license within 90 days of the ceremony with the County Clerk’s office. If you forget to procure a marriage license or forget it the day of your wedding, the date will reflect sometime different than your ceremony and an extra fee will be charged for the minister to meet you another time.

Beach & Destination Wedding Planning
Book your Location
If you are date/time/location specific make your reservations well in advance. There are hundreds of locations in San Diego to get married, but some are more popular than others and book quickly. Don’t delay!
Fees
All our fees are via Venmo or Zell and a convenience/processing fee will be added for all credit cards including debit cards.

Consultations
All consultations and planning are included in our packages and we block off a couple of hours (more if needed) for a phone consultation workshop to build your wedding layout. We can send you samples ahead of time in your preliminary color scheme. Our web site and face book pages give you a plethora of images and locations to choose from and we can build your personal look by starting there with ideas you have already seen. Custom designs where we have to purchase and create new items we don’t have in stock are done on a quote basis and can get rather expensive. We do absorb some of this cost if we feel we can reuse the items for future weddings and will keep those items we contribute in paying for. We have an extensive inventory and this has only happened a few times over the last few years as most people will be able to put their ideas into place by choosing from what we already have in stock. We only do the workshop once your deposit is made.
Rehearsals
If you feel a rehearsal is necessary we can either give you a print out on how to do your own rehearsal or configure a price point based on date/time and how long you want one of our staff to be there. The ceremony itself isn’t practiced the day of the rehearsal but the order of the service, the entrance of the wedding party and all relevant implementation (ex: sand/candle ceremonies, exchange of vows, rings, etc will be put in order) so you will feel comfortable with all aspects of the ceremony the day of the wedding.
The Day of Your Wedding
Regular appointment hours are 10 am to 7 pm and our last appointment is 6 pm. We do charge an additional $35 for traveling during heavy traffic hours from 2-7 Monday through Friday as it takes considerably longer to/from locations. After hours, Holiday, or special event days (Valentine’s Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day etc) are available at additional cost.
Timely weddings make for less stressful weddings for both the client and the business providing services. We can only allow a grace period of 15 minutes after your appointed time to begin your ceremony. Additional fees will be charged depending on how late you begin: $75 after 15 minutes, $100 for being 1/2 hour late, $150 for 45 minutes late, and $200 if you are an hour late and the minister agrees to stay and does not have to leave to go to another appointment. This must be paid via Venmo or Zelle at the time of the wedding. This does not include additional time for the photographer as their contracted time is the starting time of your wedding for 1 1/2 hours only and if you are late you will receive less photos or have to purchase additional time from the photographer and this has to be paid via Venmo or Zelle at the time of the wedding.
It is always best to suggest (Even if invitations are sent out) for the guests to arrive at a slightly earlier time than the minister and staff. That way you can have all of your guests ready to begin the ceremony on time.
Inclement weather: We will do your wedding at your location regardless of the weather but on occasion even beautiful sunny San Diego has rain and we cannot use our chapel as a backup as we are performing weddings there at the same time our Beach/Destination weddings are being performed.

Civil or Religious Meaningful Wedding Ceremonies
Our friendly staff helps you create a day to remember by personalizing your ceremony to your particular needs and beliefs. We respect all religious tenents and will gladly include any cultural, religious, or personal requests into your service.
Each minister does their own personalized ceremony but includes the bulleted point outline but you can add any personalization of something you want said/read as long as you send it to us prior to the wedding and not want to include it the day of.

- Pronouncement
You are welcome to have a Theme Wedding (Halloween, Country Western, Renaissance, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, Star Trek, Pilgrim, etc) which has been quite popular over the years. If you want the minister to participate in costume, you must provide it at your cost.
We also perform ceremonies in Hot Air Balloons, on Horseback, on the trolley, the train, airplanes, 3 wheelers in the desert, yachts, row boats, motorcycles, parades, and even as a padre at the San Diego Stadium. If you can imagine it, we can be a part of your dream!
